The agricultural calendar, since ancient times, is closely linked to astronomy: lunar phases, equinoxes and solstices, deities and rituals, Saints and traditions, were all, and still are today in the form of popular proverbs, indicative for the different agricultural phases, such as the timing of planting sowing and harvesting, hence also helpful for the production of supplies.

Spazio Primitivo is now organizing the third edition of an event dedicated to the autumnal equinox.
The “Aequa Nox” this year will be celebrated Saturday the 21st of September at 20:30 with the return of a great chef.

👨🏻‍🍳 A return not linked to the fact of having seen him several times on the TV show “La Prova del Cuoco”, neither to the fact that we have never had the pleasure of having him working here in Puglia.
In this case it is only an emotional return and it is connected to a revelation: Claudio Favale, chef at Simposio restaurant in Rome with a strong international profile, a face known to all the gourmets and gourmand televiewer, was born in San Pancrazio Salentino and he is extremely proud of having been raised by a “manduriana” grandmother.

🍝 Therefore, for the very first time, Claudio Favale comes back to Manduria to charm us with his delicious creations that will declare the transition from summer to autumn. Several fine and elegant small courses will be served, alongside a couple of wines typically summery and a couple of wines typically autumnal.
Obviously, we will take the opportunity to let him tell us about his working career and his experiences and maybe we could force him into promising to come back to his native land more often.

🍷 As always, there will be a “momento del cantiniere”, which is what bloggers call “wine experience”, and all the guests will be involved.

🍰 Finally, two desserts will be served and guests will have the choice to pair them with the wine proposals of our winery.
